Through Wisdom Exchange, Dick offers practical skills and “Generous Space” methodologies through coaching, workshops, and hands-on applications. With Lina Cramer, Dick shares the fundamental principles of working together in authentic, supportive partnerships, reminding us that innate wisdom is something we all share, and that with good partnerships, great things happen.

Dick has helped raise over $50 million for a variety of nonprofit organizations including the American Cancer Society, Illinois Saint Andrews Society, Roycemore School, and the Arthritis Foundation. With over 35 years experience in fundraising and development, he has built comprehensive fundraising programs, specializing in major gifts, capital campaigns, and board development. Dick is currently working with Voices for Illinois Children, Lawrence Hall, and Hope Community Center. He serves as Chairman of the Board for Metropolitan Family Services (Evanston Skokie) and Governmental Affairs Chair with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and he is an Advisory Board member for Chicago Life Opportunities Initiative. As a fundraising coach, he also works with The Berkana Institute.
